Privacy policy on the application process

We take care of your data!

1. Review of your job application

Thank you very much for sending us your application. In a first step, we will check in the human resources department whether your application meets our criteria. If everything fits, we will proceed to the next step.

2. Frontend or PHP test (ONLY FOR DEVELOPERS)

Even though we naturally assume that you are well-qualified, we still want to test your skills with a development test. You can work on this test from the comfort of your home, and it will take about 2.5 hours of your time. The result of your test will be evaluated by the head of the department and, if necessary, parts of it will be discussed with the team. But don't worry: If you do something wrong, it doesn't mean that you are out of the game right away. Rather, we want to find out where your strengths lie and where we can transfer specific knowledge during your onboarding.

3. Invitation to the interview (hire by the team)

In the infamous job interview, you will get to know your new team right away because we follow the hire by the team approach. That's why it's possible that the group might be a little bigger, but we're all really nice, and we don't bite! The final decision about a job is then made at team level.

Your application will be forwarded to the team in anonymous form and without personal data. The forwarded information includes your educational background, your work experience, the evaluation of your test by the head of department and (if provided by you) reference projects (e.g. Git).

4. Acceptance

Finally made it! You're convinced? We're convinced? Then you will receive our final feedback and the employment contract. And all we have to say is: Kudos and welcome to the team!

5. Rejection & Deletion of your data

It didn't work out this time? Too bad, but maybe it will work another time! After completion of the application process, we will delete your data within 3 months (retention period).

You would like us to add you to our pool of applicants, e.g. because you have applied on your initiative, and we unfortunately have no vacancies at the moment? No problem. We will ask you for this in the rejection email and if you agree, we will save your application data for 12 months and automatically consider your application as soon as we have a new vacancy. Of course, you can revoke your consent to be stored in the applicant pool at any time.

6. Consent & Questions

You have questions or do not want us to share some of your data with the team?

Then just contact us via karriere (at) techdivision.com or the phone number given in the email.
