Privacy policy on the application process
1. Review of your Application
Thank you for sending us your application. The first step is for our HR department and the relevant specialist department to check whether your application meets our criteria. If everything fits, we will move on to the next step.
2. Carrying out a Front-End or PHP-Test (ONLY FOR DEVELOPERS)
Even though we naturally assume that you are highly qualified, we still want to test your skills with a development test. You can complete this test from the comfort of your home, and it will take about 2.5 hours of your time. The results of your test will be evaluated by the division manager and, if necessary, discussed in part with the team. But don't worry: if you do something wrong, it doesn't mean you're out straight away. Rather, we want to find out where your strengths lie and where we can impart specific knowledge during your onboarding.
3. Invitation to an Interview (Hire by the Team)
In the infamous interview, you will get to know your new team straight away, as we follow the hire by the team approach. That's why it's possible that the group may get bigger, but we're all really nice and don't bite! The final hiring decision is then made at team level.
In principle, your application will be forwarded to the team in anonymized form and without personal data. This includes your education, professional experience, the assessment of your test by the department head and (if you provide it) reference projects (e.g. Git).
4. Acceptance
Finally done! Are you convinced? We are convinced? Then you will receive our final feedback and the employment contract. And all that's left for us to say is: Kudos and welcome to the team!
5. Cancellation & deletion of your data
Unfortunately, it didn't work out this time? Too bad, but maybe it will work out another time! We will delete your data within 3 months of completing the application process (retention period).
Would you like us to include you in our applicant pool, for example because you have sent us an unsolicited application, and we unfortunately do not have a vacancy at the moment? No problem. We will ask you about this in the rejection email and if you agree, we will save your application data for 12 months and automatically consider your application as soon as we have a new vacancy. You can, of course, informally withdraw your consent to storage in the applicant pool at any time.
6. Consent & questions
Do you have questions or don't want us to share any of your data with the team?
Then simply contact us via karriere@techdivision.comor the telephone number given in the e-mail.
