Project Goal
Duration: 04/2022 - Ongoing (takeover of the digital commerce platform, subsequent ongoing development)
The sporting goods manufacturer HEAD decided to rely on the Adobe Gold Partner TechDivision for the further development of its existing digital commerce platforms in 2022.
The basis here is an Adobe Commerce instance for each of the following brands that belong to HTM Sport GmbH:
To ensure the necessary security for all project participants, an audit of the existing platform was carried out as a first step. The complete source code was then transferred to our development environment and, as one of the first steps for the best possible further development, transferred to a build and deployment framework developed by us with the associated automated processes.
Our Solutions
How we supported HEAD
In TechDivision, we have found an extremely experienced partner who will advise and support us in our further development in the area of digitalization. Although the collaboration is still relatively new, it is already very clear that the approach is extremely professional and targeted. The openness and transparency with which they operate is also new for us in this form. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the TechDivision team.
Gerhard Spari, HTM Sport GmbH
In 1947, Howard Head began developing the first skis made of metal. In 1950, the HEAD Ski Company Inc. was finally founded. In 1968, HEAD founded a tennis division within the company, and one year later presented the first metal tennis racket at the U.S. Open. In 1985, the then-management bought HEAD, Tyrolia and Mares and founded HTM Sport GmbH. Today, HEAD and its brands are organized in the HEAD Group.
The company equips a large number of well-known winter sports athletes with its products, including ski racers Beat Feuz, Johannes Strolz and Alexis Pinturault. In tennis, Novak Đoković, Andy Murray, Tomáš Berdych and Alexander Zverev are among the well-known active players who use HEAD. Andre Agassi achieved his greatest successes with HEAD rackets.
Today, the skis are produced in Vorarlberg and the Czech Republic. Bindings and ski boot engineering are positioned at the Schwechat site.
