Project Goal

PINO GmbH approached us in the summer of 2016 because the store based on Magento 1 was not stable at the time.

After an audit, we subsequently took over its optimization and further development. Due to PINO's growth and ambitious plans, a website relaunch was planned in 2018, which involved switching to Magento 2. The company was one of the first customers in the German-speaking world to opt for the Cloud version of Magento.

As a result, a number of new features were rolled out in addition to various new country stores. Highlights include a headless VR product configurator and the use of artificial intelligence for product recommendations.

PINO is once again on the cusp of the next stage of development, which focuses on providing the best possible shopping experience across all relevant touchpoints. To this end, PINO is relying on the Adobe Digital Foundation package for SMEs.

We made the absolutely right decision in opting for Magento Commerce Cloud. The development to date on the one hand and the high stability and reliability on the other ensure that we can concentrate on the further development of our stores and real innovations, such as the VR product configurator or providing product recommendations using artificial intelligence. With the introduction of Adobe Digital Foundation, we will reach a new milestone within our E-Commerce offering and will be able to offer an entirely new level of shopping experience across all relevant touchpoints for our customers in both the B2B and B2C environments.
